Hönggerberg (ZH)

Site description

The Hönggerberg site (CH-Hon) is located within a external page common garden experiment with eight evergreen and deciduous tree species of different origin. Its plantation was established 2021 by WSL to test different tree species adapted to future climate. The site is part of the external page Waldlabor Zürich. Eddy covariance flux measurements were started in spring 2024 (tower coordinates: 47°25’07.9″N and 8°29’28.7″E; WGS84 47.41887, 8.491318; at 527 m asl).
