Davos (GR)

Site description

The Davos site (CH-Dav) is one of two forest sites within the Swiss FluxNet, a subalpine evergreen forest, located on the Seehorn mountain near Davos in the Swiss Alps. The site is dominated by Norway spruce, and is part of the external page NABEL (Swiss air quality network) and the external page long-term forest ecosystem research network of the WSL. In addition, the site is the Swiss contribution within ICOS-CH to ICOS ERIC (Class 1 Ecosystem Station). Eddy covariance flux measurements are available since January 1997 (tower coordinates: 46°48'55.2" N and 9°51'21.3" E; WGS84 46.815333, 9.855917; at 1639 m asl).
