Ethics and Scientific Integrity
This course is offered for doctoral students of D-USYS. It represents the second part of this ethics course, carried out as a seminar, both online as well as in person (two half days: 6 March 2025 and 10 April 2025) during the semester.

This course is jointly offered with the external page Zurich-Basel Plant Science Center. Students will discuss different case studies in role-play scenarios and present their consensus decision of responsible conduct in class, among them:

- Influence of Values on Scientific Writing
- Fabrication in grant application
- Conflicts of Interest
- Publication and Openness
- Interactions with the media
- The Allocation of Credit
- Authorship Practices
- Error and Negligence in Science
- Misconduct in Science
