Outreach

Within our group, we conduct many research projects to increase process- and system-oriented understanding of agroecosystems and forests and their response to human and biophysical drivers. However, understanding and quantification of impacts is not enough. We need to engage in a dialogue with young pupils and their teachers, stakeholders as well as with the public. Thus, we aim to directly reach out to the public, e.g. at science or agricultural fairs or in dedicated projects. For schools, we particularly facilitate information and knowledge transfer from research into primary and secondary education. Here, we report about on-going as well as finished projects. In addition, we also inform about our diverse outreach activities in our News.
